Mother’s day is a day we set aside to celebrate the moms in our lives and let them know we appreciate them. As my own mother ages, I find I get more nostalgic about mother’s day, and it will be here before we know it! When I first became a mom it shed new light on the responsibilities a mother unwittingly takes on. Every year I struggle to decide what mother’s day gift will bring a bit of joy for my mom. So I wanted to help us all out and post some mothers day gift ideas that are great for all the special woman in our lives.

They either say “I’ve been listening”, and show that you have picked up on small musings or complaints, or they pick up on an unspoken want or need that show that you know her best. Homemade waffles are my favourite, crispy on the outside, pillow-soft yumminess on the inside (especially if they are blueberry) – nothing beats them! … or maybe she would love all the flavour but none of the calories form an air-fryer. You know her best!
If you haven’t discovered the yumminess of an outdoor pizza oven you are in for a treat! My neighbor has one and we have had a few pandemic friendly gatherings with hot pizza right out of the oven and it is divine! The best part? You can cook a rib-eye in there too. It isn’t just for pizzas! This would definitely be my pick!
